Bartec delivers Bariatric Ultrasound Couch
Bartec has delivered a new Bariatric Ultrasound "Ultra Pro" couch to the Birmingham's Women's Hospital. The couch which accepts patients up to 500lb weight has all movements fully motorised with a self levelling feature. It has been designed with assistance of Sonographers with the comfort of both the operator and the patient in mind.
Paul Court, the Imaging Manager said "Patients come in varying sizes and this couch means we can safely image our Bariatric patients. The strength and flexibility of this couch maintains our efficiency and ensures patient waiting times are kept to a minimum."
